The 17' Catboat provides overnight
cruising in a cabin with sitting
accommodation. The rig can be Gaff
or Marconi and power can be outboard
or small diesel. The 8' beam and the
centerboard allows easy trailing,
and Charles Wittholz describes this
boat a small boat with a 'Big
Heart'. Construction is of Marine
plywood.
